PRESBYTERY NEWS FROM
THE PRESBYTERY OF SOUTH WEST SCOTLAND
Mobile Library
The Presbytery runs a small Mobile Library that aims to provide introductory books on over 170 aspects of Christian faith and practice for congregational members and those preparing for ministry in whatever form. It aims to help church members to be more informed and articulate about what is involved in following Christ in an increasingly secular world.
To promote this, a short Book of The Month recommendation is being prepared each month. Please click on the buttons below to download these recommendations.

Scottish Faith Action for Refugees
Scottish Faith Action for Refugees is hosting an exciting ecumenical event on Saturday, 25 March. You are invited to join us at a one-day gathering called ‘Journeying with New Scots – Building community with refugees and asylum seekers’
When: Saturday, 25th March 10am - 3.30pm
Where: St Mark’s Parish Church in Raploch, Stirling.
Churches and refugees & asylum seekers (New Scots) from across Scotland will be gathering to worship together, share experiences, grow in knowledge, and strengthen our ties as people with a shared passion for creating welcoming communities. As places of hope and sanctuary churches are at the heart of building community with New Scots. Whether you have extensive experience of welcoming refugees and asylum seekers, or are just exploring journeying with New Scots, all are welcome.
