Day 9 of the 12 Days of Christmas: Nativity

Today we enjoy the Nativity story as told by some of the children in Beattock and Moffat.

Why not get wrapped up and try the Nativity Hunt in Moffat? Details are as follows:

Around the town in shop windows there are some characters from the Nativity plus some that we associate with Christmas but are not part of the Nativity. Can you spot them? The first four correct sheets pulled out of the bag get a prize. Entry forms are available from Moffat Toffee Shop and Grieve's Newsagents.

There are also two short Nativity Trails in the Church grounds for families to enjoy, organised by our outgoing Presbytery Deacon, Angela. Details:

- There will be one trail in the play area behind the Church for younger children, which has 12 characters to find and using QR codes will tell the Christmas story. Once you complete this trail there is a chance to download a certificate and 30 colouring sheets. - The second trail, which will be on the grassy area at the front of the Church, is aimed at primary aged children. It also uses QR codes and asks you to find the "hidden" letters in the videos to spell out a name. You will need this as it is the password to unlock the final video. Please stay with your family group and keep 2 metres apart.
